To Rent an Item

1. Browse our listings

Search → compare → pick the good vibes. Cameras, games, outfits, tools, whatever.

2. Send a Request (Create an account first)

Choose your dates through the item's availability calendar. You will need to enter your credit card info to send a booking request. You will not be billed until the owner approves. Ask any questions you have and check your Tokiloo inbox often.

3. Tok Tok Loue 🚪✊

Have you both agreed on a pick-up and drop-off time? Time to meet at the owner’s chosen pick-up spot. Check the item, take a pic if you want (for peace of mind), off you go.

4. Enjoy Your Rental

Do your photoshoot, LAN party, roadtrip, DIY project, cosplay moment… we support all your main-character energy. Just treat the rented item like if it was your own.

5. Return It

Bring it back on time, in the same condition. Everyone wins + the owner gets paid after. You will get an invite to leave a review shortly after.

To Post your Item

1. Create Your Listing (Create an account first)

Time to snap a couple cute pics of your item, write a quick description, set your price. Boom. You’re already 80% done.

2. Verify Bank Account Details 🏦

If it's your 1st listing, we will need your bank info to send your money. Your info is encrypted, never stored by Tokiloo, and fully handled by Stripe. FYI they also process payments for Shopify, Amazon and Google. More about how Stripe keeps your financial data safe →

🤚 You can skip the Stripe verification for later and still post your listing. People will see it but without your bank info, no one will be able to book your item.

3. Approve Requests

You get a booking request through email → check the dates → vibe check the renter (do they have reviews? Did we agree on a pick up and drop off time?) → accept. Here comes your money.

4. Time To Meet

Meet at your chosen pick-up spot. Ask for an ID to be sure it's not just a random dude. Easy exchange. Sleep stress free knowing you’re backed by up to $200 coverage.

5. Get Paid ˗ˋˏ$ˎˊ˗

When the item comes back safely, we send your payout. We automatically take a 3% fee to continue running a smooth platform. See your payout email so you don’t have to do math.

If your item gets lost or damaged, you’re backed by up to $200 coverage. Send us a message immediately at support@tokiloo.com. Send pics + what happened → our claims team will reach out.
